The Matcha House and Aoi Seicha put to service their customers more than 30 hectares of Japanese green tea field managed through cultivation contracts with local producers or tea cooperatives. This model of contract farming can meet with great flexibility, increases in demand that may occur either by entering new markets or by natural variations in crops often have year after year.
The production that Aoi Seicha makes for The Matcha House is determined according to European market's needs. A part of this production is forecasted periodically by The Matcha House to maintain a minimum stock of products to meet urgent and small orders, commercial samples and small industrial testing that customers wish to perform. The other part of the production is made according to The Matcha House's requests for its wholesale orders.
Matcha tea expires, like all fresh products. Matcha tea has an expiry date which is normally one year from the date of packaging. That is why The Matcha House pays special attention to its inventory management to ensure that customers can get their products with the best possible conditions.
